How do I book?

How much do I to pay to secure my spot on this cruise?
If you book by June 24, 2026, a $50 per person down payment is all that’s required to confirm your reservation.
What is the deadline for booking and paying $50 down?
Reservations and initial payments are due by June 24, 2026. After that, NCL requires a $250 per person down payment is due within 7 days of booking.
Is my down payment refundable?
Yes. You can receive a full refund of your deposit and any payments made on the cabin until 120 prior to sailing. Please take time to review NCL’s cancelation policy.
When will I need to pay the remaining amount?
Final payments are due 120 days before sailing, or October 3, 2026. However, in order to avoid any disruptions in reservations, Bridget is requesting all final payments to be made by September 15, 2026.
Which credit cards are accepted for payment?
American Express, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.
Can I make monthly payments on the cruise?
Yes. Bridget can arrange for monthly or periodic payments to be made.
Are any additional discounts available for this cruise?
Yes. NCL offers an additional discount for active military members. If you are an NCL shareholder, you may be eligible to receive additional onboard credit (OBC). Purchasing Cruise First credits can save you $150 on this cruise fare, and give you credits to use on a future cruise. If you have previously purchased Cruise Next credits, you can apply one $250 Cruise Next credit to your reservation. Contact Bridget for details.
Is Bridget joining the group on this cruise?
Yes! This is a hosted trip, which means Bridget will be available to answer your questions, help with logistics, and provide general expertise based on her cruising experience.
If I have casino credits from a previous cruise, can I book in this group?
You will not be able to use your casino credits or promotions inside this group booking. However, Bridget can assist you in determining your best value - group rates versus casino promos. Casinos at Sea handles all bookings for their promos and credits.
Is travel insurance available for this trip?
Yes! Bridget sells Allianz Travel Insurance, and NCL also offers insurance. Reach out to discuss the best option and/or obtain a quote.
Can anyone join this “group” cruise?
Yes! “Group” refers to a group rate and additional amenities that would not be available to an individual booking. Feel free to invite whomever you like! Even better, celebrate a special occasion by bringing your own “group within the group."
Do I need a passport to go on this cruise?
Per NCL policy, cruises that begin and end in the same US port (San Juan is a US Territory) and do not sail through the Panama Canal or to any South American ports, you are required to carry one of the below documents:
A Valid Passport
OR
Proof of Citizenship (see below) AND Government-issued photo ID
If I want to stay “solo” in my room versus double occupancy, what is the cost?
Solo travelers would pay double the cruise fare. Contact Bridget for a quote.
What’s included in the cruise fare price?
The fares for this cruise are $1,563.10 for a balcony room, and $1,441.55 for an inside cabin and include taxes and port fees. Fares are per person, double occupancy. All cabins in this group receive $100 onboard credit.
Balcony cabins include all “Free At Sea” amenities: $100 onboard credit per cabin; unlimited drink package; all meals + 3 specialty dining nights; 150-minute Wi-Fi package; and $50 per cabin, per port excursion credits.
Inside cabins can choose 2 of the Free At Sea Amenities.
If guests prefer not to have the unlimited drink package, they may opt for an amenity package that includes $100 onboard credit in addition to the $100 onboard credit that comes with the group.
PLEASE NOTE: The unlimited drink package also includes sodas. If you opt out of the drink package, you will be charged for each soda.
Can I purchase “Free At Sea Plus” within this group?
Yes, Free At Sea Plus can be purchased for $59.99 per person, per day. Both parties in the cabin must purchase. If you would like additional amenities, you can purchase Free At Sea Plus, which includes everything in Free At Sea with these additions: top shelf spirits, including Patron Anejo, The Maccallan 12 YO and more; Premium wines & champagne by the glass with over 50 labels from NCL’s signature collection and 40% off all other bottles; All Starbucks coffee and specialty coffee drinks from Starbucks locations and restaurants, one drink per visit; Energy drinks and fresh juices; Bottled water at the bar and premium bottled water (still & sparkling) in restaurants; Free At Sea dining meals and 50% off the package gratuity on any additional specialty dining nights.
I only see Balcony or Inside cabins available for this group booking. If I want to stay in the Haven or book a suite, can I still join this group?
You can book in a suite, Oceanview, The Haven, and group amenities are available, but group discounts are not. Contact Bridget to discuss options, and she will book you in the desired category and make sure you are getting the best, overall pricing and amenities for your booking.
What is onboard credit and how do I use it?
NCL onboard credit (OBC) is a preloaded credit applied to your shipboard account that can be used for most onboard purchases, including dining (if you want additional specialty nights), spa treatments, shore excursions, beverages, and shopping, but not for gratuities or casino play.
What is not included in the cruise fare prices?
Airfare, pre-cruise hotel, transfers, and anything outside of the cruise. Group hotel rates will be available for a 2-night pre-cruise hotel stay in San Juan.
Will group airfare rates be available from Minneapolis to San Juan for this trip?
Depending on the number of people flying from Minneapolis, group rates may be possible.
Will group hotel rates be available for the 2 nights pre-cruise stay in San Juan?
Yes. Rates and accommodation details will be available mid- to late-June.
Are any group excursions or activities being planned while on the trip?
In the months leading up to our cruise, Bridget will interact with guests on a Group Facebook page to gauge interest in any group events. A bar crawl onboard the ship is planned for on one of our “at sea” days.
How will I know what to do when we are in port, including San Juan?
Bridget will provide many ideas and details for guests in the months leading up to the cruise.
What ship are we sailing, and where can I find more information about it?
We are sailing on the Norwegian Prima. It was built in 2022, and was designed to feel like a swanky resort rather than a cruise ship. It holds 3,195 passengers, served by 1,506 crew members. Click here for details, including photos and web cam on Norwegian Prima.
On which deck are the cabins in the group booking?
Our group will be on decks 10 and 11. Click here to review deck plans.
Can I choose my own room and or get an adjoining room with others for my group?
When you book, you can indicate a preference of aft, mid, or forward; and then either deck 10 or 11. You can also indicate your preference for an adjoining cabin. Actual cabins are subject to availability. No guarantees on adjoining cabins or specific cabin selections.
Will we have enough time in ports to actually enjoy each destination?
Yes! NCL boasts some of the longest times in port in the cruise industry. In both Curacao and Aruba (A and C of the ABC Islands), we have 13 hours in port! At St. Thomas and Tortola, 10 hours in port. You will have time to enjoy amazing beaches, excursions, shopping, and be back in time for the ship’s departure.
What if I miss the ship while we are in port?
If you miss the ship, you need to provide your own transportation to the next port. So, don’t miss the ship! Bridget will provide tips leading up to the cruise to make sure you are mindful of your time, assuring you set your time to the ship’s time, and aware of the all-aboard time in each port.
